AZY(Japan)
[AZY]는 1992년 일본 도쿄에서 태어난 일러스트레이터로, 2015년 영국 브라이튼 대학교에서 일러스트레이션 학사(Hons) 과정을 졸업한 후 2016년부터 도쿄에서 일러스트레이터로 활동하기 시작했습니다. [AZY]는 출판사, TV 프로덕션, 패션 브랜드와의 협업 외에도 독립 아트북 이벤트를 직접 기획하고, 웹 작가로서 웹 매거진에서 일하며, 크라우드 펀딩 프로젝트, 미술 강사 등 다양한 활동을 하고 있습니다. 어린 시절부터 만화와 애니메이션 등 일본의 서브컬처에 깊은 영향을 받아왔습니다. 그리고 삶의 경험에서 비롯되어 생긴 독특한 철학은 미지의 세계를 발견하고, 창의적인 여정을 떠나게 해줍니다.
[AZY] is a Japanese illustrator born in Tokyo, Japan in 1992. After graduating from BA(Hons) Illustration course at University of Brighton in England in 2015, she began her career as an illustrator in Tokyo from 2016. In addition to working with publishers, TV productions and fashion brands, AZY organizes independent art book events by herself, works for web magazines as a web writer, makes crowdfunding projects come true, and teaches at vocational school as an art tutor. Japanese subcultures such as manga and anime have fostered her colorful and cheerful ideas since childhood. Also, her unique philosophy that is born in her life experiences usually leads her to discover the unknown world and venture into a creative journey.
